Aluminium Brise Soleil – Residential Property, New Forest

NLC supplied, delivered and installed this brise soleil to residential property in the New Forest, Hampshire.  This particular shading system consisted of two elevations of brise soleil joined together through the use of a fully welded corner panel.

Arched Top Brise Soleil / Solar Shading – New School, Lincoln

Vertical Solar Shading

Nationwide Louvre Company recently installed this fantastic vertical aluminium brise soleil system to a new school extension in Lincoln. Vertical box section support sub frame held the NLC-SOL300-E elliptical Brise Soleil blades in position at a 28 degree angle. The Brise Soleil was designed to reduce solar gain and glare through the windows.

Continuous Timber Brise Soleil – Residential Project – Kent

Continuous Timber Brise Soleil

NLC’s most recent brise soleil project consisted of the 120mm timber blade system shaped to match the profile of the aluminium 120mm elliptical blade. The timber blades are fixed to powder coated aluminium side frames and held in place by aluminium brackets hidden behind the cladding.

Brise Soleil – Brand New Leisure Centre

Vertical Brise Soleil

This project was completed by NLC at a leisure centre in Eley. This particular system consisted of 3 elevations with our 120mm elliptical blades split into bays along the front of the building in between the drainpipes. Two welded corner sections joined the main elevation to the side elevations to give a continuous appearance.

Brise Soleil – Modern Residential Project, Aberdeen

Architectural Triangular Brise Soleil

NLC supplied, delivered and installed ten triangular brise soleil panels to a residential development in Aberdeen. Each panel was fabricated using a box section frame with fixing cleats in certain areas to allow the frames to be dismantled for transport. The blades were fixed to the frames using a profiled aluminium folded cleat fixed to the front of the box section. The box section frames were fixed in four points along the top two diagonal parts of the frame and also at the base where a straight bracket fixed back to the wall. 

Solar Shading – St. Bede’s School, Cambridge

210mm Elliptical Blade Brise Soleil

NLC Engineers recently installed this vertical brise soleil to St. Bede’s School in Cambridge. The panels consisted of 210mm elliptical profile blades fixed to aluminium profiled side frames. The panels were fixed directly to the steel posts using stainless steel fixings through the side frames.

Replacement Brise Soleil

NLC engineers removed old damaged brise soleil and replaced it with these new 120mm elliptical blade panels. The brise soleil has a feature box section to the front and was complete with four fully welded corners.
